Alexander Orekhov a team coach for law students of the Belarusian State University

Alexander Orekhov, attorney of Verkhovodko &Partners, was a team coach for law students of the Belarusian State University participating in IV ICC Lex Mercatoria International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition (November 28-30, 2015). The Moot Court Competition was organized by the Faculty of Law of Belarusian State University, the International Court of Arbitration ICC (Paris), the International Arbitration Court at the BelCCI, the ICC Russian National Committee (ICC Russia), Belarusian Republican Lawyers' Union and JurSpectr LLC.
Sixteen teams from Belarus, Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan participated in the Moot Court Competition. The teams had to prepare and submit their memorandum, setting out their procedural and substantive law arguments in support of the positions of the claimant and respondent.
The oral hearings of the Moot Court Competition were judged by lawyers and professors from around the world, including representatives and arbitrators of the International Court of Arbitration ICC (Paris) and International Arbitration Court at the BelCCI, attorneys of prominent Belarus and international law firms.
The moot court team of the Faculty of Law of Belarusian State University, coached by Alexander Orekhov, attorney of Verkhovodko &Partners, took second-place honors in IV ICC Lex Mercatoria International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition.
