Participation in a dispute over a large hotel facility

After acquiring ownership of a large hotel facility in the center of Minsk, our Client was sued by a foreign contractor for recovery of the cost of work performed in the amount of approximately EUR 10 million. We represented the Client in this dispute, having also filed a counterclaim against the plaintiff for recovery of the cost of defects in the same amount.

After lengthy litigation, we managed to develop a concept of mutual claims settlement, on the basis of which the parties were able to settle their mutual claims totaling approximately EUR 20 million by entering into respective agreements.
