Successful representation of client’s interests in litigation and mediation proceedings

The client implemented an investment agreement with the Government of the Republic of Belarus for the establishment of a multifunctional transport, storage and logistics center and construction of an agricultural production plant.

As part of the project, a legal dispute arose with a Lithuanian construction contractor over improper fulfillment of its obligations. We represented the client when considering the dispute in court, which was finally settled on mutually beneficial terms through mediation and a number of out-of-court agreements. We also represented the client in mediation proceedings, participated in drafting the relevant agreements, and advised the client on various issues related to the project.
