Since 2006, the Bashmet Festival has become one of the most significant classical music events in Europe and the CIS, bringing together recognized performers and audiences from all over the world.
We acted as a key legal advisor on this project. We rendered legal support on all issues arising in connection with the festival: intellectual property, advertising, tax legislation, preparation of legal documents required for the participation and performance of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London and other foreign artists during the festival (e.g. related to the travel of musicians to and from Belarus, their stay in Minsk and transportation of musical instruments, etc.), participation in the relevant negotiations, drafting of foreign (gratuitous) sponsorship agreements with various sponsors, including some foreign embassies in the Republic of Belarus, drafting and negotiating an agreement with a leading European classical music channel to promote the festival.
